The privacy of your data is a big deal to us. We only store details of routes and authorization keys to retrieve these routes from your Strava account. We do not store personal details like your name or address.
When you sign up for sharing your Strava routes with Find-Routes, we redirect you to Strava where you can give Find-Routes permission to retrieve publicly visible information from you Strava account. Find-Routes receives authorization codes from Strava which it uses to retrieve the public routes from your Strava account. It stores your account id and the received authorization codes. Once Find-Routes retrieves routes, it only stores the route details. It does not store any personal information like your name of address. The route details are then used on Find-Routes such that users of the Find-Routes website can find and discover new routes.
